Maldives...
A place i'll call Paradise
Is a very quiet and relax place, very peaceful
After i posted my photos taken at Maldives there's alot question coming in my FB inbox regarding Maldives. So, this time i'm gonna make an Q&A blog to answer all the ques.
Q : How much you spend for your trip?
A : i doesn't know the exact amount, but is around RM20k+ for whole trip.
Q : Which resort you stay?
A : Angsana Velavaru
Q : You stay 2 hotel ?
A : Hmm..I did budget for my Honeymoon trip, so i've decided to try out both deluxe beach front villa with private pool and in ocean villa :) is in the same resort =D

Q : How much is the room cost ?
A : I'm not sure the exact amount but is roughly this price.. Deluxe beach front private pool villa, USD600++ havent include tax. Sunset in-ocean villa with private pool is about USD1600++ not included tax.

Q : Does your room booking include meal?
A : Yeah, i booked in MATTA fair so my booking is with breakfast and dinner (Full board), normally book at your own, the hotel provide breakfast only.

Q : You get cheaper room rate at MATTA Fair?
A : No, i'm not sure for other resort but for angsana velavaru the room rate are the same just that we have dinner and transport included.

Q : What are the transport to island? Any transit in between?
A : I reach there late so i have to go with speedboat. Before you can jump onto speed boat, you have to make a domestic transit to Maamigilli (20min flight) and now you can sleep for 1hour and 35min on your boat. Fly with seaplane is much more faster, just need 35minute to reach Male without any transit.

Q : How much is your air ticket? And which airline you fly with?
A : MAS airline, around RM2k+++ for two person, cheap leh cheap leh..bought the ticket during promotion...ngek ngek ngek..i'm a wise purchaser ;)

Q : What they offer for breakfast & dinner?
A : Normal buffet breakfast like all the hotel do or you may request for Menu, they have pancake, omellete, egg benedict. For dinner, there are BBQ and buffet on the beach restaurant and Fine dine at inbeach villa restaurant (Azzuro)

you have to pay for drinks for every meal, even mineral water
Q : Heard that test is needed for some activities, is it real?
A : Yea, they'll give you fin and you have to jump from a boat without life jacket and mask on hand, after you can float about 30second then only you put on the mask and swim back to the beach. If you couldn't pass the test you can't go snorkelling nor diving except guided snorkelling

Q : Is visa needed?
A : No
Q : What so special for Honeymoon package ?
A : They'll give special decoration, wine and wedding ceremony after the wedding ceremony they'll help to snap photos and bring you to plant your 'love tree' <3 but you'll need to provide your marriage cert which not more than one year. If you're not qualified you still can ask for anniversary special, like i do =P you'll get a special room welcome decoration and a wine.

Time different, male is 3hours late then malaysia and island is 2hour late then malaysia (12am at malaysia 9pm at male at island time 10pm)
Lastly, my advise for people who are going.. Bring along sunblock, hat, shade, maggie cup, pringles, snacks, coke, anime/drama/book, laptop/ipad and mask~~
cause Maldives is a very very relax place, you go all the water sport on day time only, night after dinner maybe you can swim awhile and enjoy the star but i bet you wont do that everyday so you can apply mask or watch drama on beach after you've bored with viewing stars~
They got provide snorkelling set so you can go snorkelling straight from your room =D
Erm..did you try 'naked swim'? Hahaha, perhaps you can try it on beach villa...but not inocean villa ya =P
And FYI the massage spa service is about USD185.
Don't forget to bring UNDERWATER CAMERA =D you won't want to miss the chance to experienced the SAFARI SNORKELLING ^^
